Wayne Jacob's Smokehouse Wayne Jacobs Smokehouse and Restaurant is located in the heart of old Laplace at 769 West 5th St. It has been in the Laplace area since 1950 and has a rich history of smoking and producing the highest quality meats and fresh sausage.

Brothers John and David Rauch purchased the business in 2007 and take pride in continuing the tradition of preparing and smoking andouille "the olde fashioned way", and in beginning a new tradition of serving delicious homecooked meals, many made with their own smokehouse products.
